Q: How do I register for the LSAT test?
A: You may do so either online at www.lsac.org, or by obtaining a registration booklet.
Q: Fewer people take the February LSAT test. Does that mean it is easier?
A: No. How many people take the exam is irrelevant to the difficulty level of a particular LSAT administration. Additionally, the LSAT is a standardized test, so, in theory, all LSAT tests are of the same difficulty level.
Q: The LSAT Writing Sample is not scored. Does that mean I can just leave it blank?
A: Law schools receive a copy of your LSAT Writing Sample. As such, spend the time to write a competent essay.
Q: What score do I need to score in the 99th percentile rank on the LSAT test?
A: Each LSAT is slightly different, but approximately a 172 LSAT test score will yield a 99th percentile ranking. To obtain a 172 LSAT test score, you could miss about seven or eight questions.
Q: I'm not good at standardized tests such as the LSAT. What should I do?
A: You can improve your test-taking abilities by familiarizing yourself with the material tested and learning test-taking strategies, including pacing and time management. Additionally, there are numerous former LSAT tests that have been released for you to practice on.
